    Golden Heights Roofing does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not share your mobile information with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

7. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our website is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.

8. “DO NOT TRACK” SIGNALS
Our website currently does not respond to “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals from web browsers, as no uniform industry standard for DNT has been established.

  1. GENERAL INFORMATION ONLY
    The content provided by Golden Heights Roofing (“Contractor”) on our website and in marketing materials is for general informational purposes only. It is not intended as professional structural advice. A physical inspection is mandatory for any binding assessment.
  2. ESTIMATES & PRICING
    All digital or phone estimates are preliminary and non-binding. Final pricing is subject to a physical inspection and the discovery of any “Hidden Conditions” as defined in our Terms and Conditions. Contractor is not responsible for typographical errors in pricing.
  3. SITE SAFETY & INCIDENTAL DAMAGE
    Roofing is a heavy construction process. While we take extreme care:
    • Driveways: Contractor is not responsible for minor cracks or wear on driveways caused by the weight of delivery trucks or equipment.
    • Incidental Damage: Contractor is not liable for minor cracks in interior drywall, plaster, or stucco caused by the normal vibrations of roofing activities.
    1. EXISTING SYSTEMS (SOLAR & EQUIPMENT)
      Contractor is not responsible for the functionality or recalibration of existing equipment (solar panels, satellite dishes, AC units, or antennas) that must be moved or worked around during the roofing process. Any damage to existing systems not installed by the Contractor is excluded from our liability.
    2. PHOTOGRAPHY & DOCUMENTATION
      Owner grants Contractor permission to take photographs and/or videos of the property (including via drone) for the purpose of project documentation, insurance evidence, and marketing. No personal information about the Owner will be shared in marketing materials without consent.
    3. NO GUARANTEE OF SAVINGS
      Any information regarding energy efficiency or utility bill savings (e.g., from “Cool Roof” materials) is an estimate only. Contractor does not guarantee specific financial results or energy savings.
    4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
      Under no circumstances shall Golden Heights Roofing be liable for any special, direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website or services beyond the specific labor warranty provided in the signed contract.
    5. EXTERNAL LINKS
      Our site may contain links to manufacturers or financing partners. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for the content or practices of these third-party websites.

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS
    Golden Heights Roofing

    1. SCOPE OF WORK & CHANGE ORDERS
      Golden Heights Roofing (the “Contractor”) shall perform the work described in the approved estimate. Any changes or deviations requested by the Owner must be documented in a written Change Order. Contractor is not responsible for any verbal agreements not included in the written contract.
    2. HIDDEN OR CONCEALED CONDITIONS
      The contract price is based on visible conditions. If, upon removal of the existing roof, the Contractor discovers dry rot, termite damage, or structural defects in the decking (sheathing), the Contractor will notify the Owner.
      • Additional Costs: Repair of such defects will be charged after inspection. It will be a change order.
      1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (THE “CAP”)
        To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Contractor’s total liability for any claim, loss, or damage arising out of this agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer under this contract. Contractor shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of profits or use).
      2. INTERIOR PROTECTION & VIBRATIONS
        Roofing involves heavy machinery and vibrations.
        • Owner Responsibility: Owner must remove or secure fragile items (pictures, mirrors, chandeliers, electronics) from walls and ceilings.
        • Debris: Contractor is not responsible for dust or minor debris falling into attic spaces or through open-beam ceilings.
        1. LANDSCAPING & DEBRIS (NAIL DISCLAIMER)
          Contractor will take reasonable precautions to protect landscaping and will perform a magnetic sweep for nails upon completion. However:
          • Contractor is not liable for minor damage to plants or shrubs located near the work zone.
          • While we strive for 100% cleanup, Owner acknowledges that roofing is a messy process, and Contractor is not responsible for incidental debris or flat tires caused by stray nails.
          1. MATERIAL VARIANCE & COLOR
            Owner acknowledges that roofing materials (shingles, tiles, membranes) may have slight color or texture variations between batches provided by the manufacturer. Contractor is not responsible for these manufacturing inconsistencies.
          2. LIMITED LABOR WARRANTY & VOIDANCE
            Contractor provides a [Insert Number] Year Labor Warranty.
            • Voidance: This warranty is strictly VOID if any third party (e.g., solar installers, satellite technicians, AC repairmen) performs work, installs equipment, or walks on the roof after the Contractor has completed the project.
            1. ARBITRATION OF DISPUTES
              Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this agreement shall be settled by binding arbitration in the County of [Insert County, e.g., Los Angeles], California. Both parties waive their right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.
            2. ACCESS, UTILITIES & CONDUCT
              • Owner shall provide clear access to the driveway and perimeter and provide use of electricity and water at no cost.
              • Conduct: Contractor reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately if the Owner or residents create an unsafe or hostile work environment for our crew.
              1. PAYMENT TERMS & LIEN RIGHTS
                • Final payment is due immediately upon completion.
                • Late Fees: Unpaid balances after 30 days will accrue interest at 1.5% per month.
                • Legal Notice: Contractor reserves the right to file a Mechanic’s Lien in accordance with California law for any unpaid balance.
                1. THREE-DAY RIGHT TO CANCEL
                  NOTICE TO BUYER: You, the buyer, have the right to cancel this contract within three (3) business days from the date of signing. Cancellation must be provided in writing.
                2. INSURANCE DISCLOSURES
                  • Workers’ Compensation: Contractor carries Workers’ Compensation Insurance for all employees as required by the CSLB.
                  • General Liability: Contractor carries Commercial General Liability Insurance. Policy details are available upon request.
